Visual Acuity is the Measure of the eyes’ clarity, scope, and focus. Three major physical and neurological factors determine visual acuity:
- The sensitivity of nerves in the retina and vision centers in the brain;
- The range of optical perception; and
- The accuracy with which the cornea and lens focus light on the retina.
Vision Acuity has counterparts to these same three factors:
- Clarity of purpose devoid of Cognitive Blind-Spots;
- broad contextual perspective that frames the entire landscape; and
- Sharp focus that single-mindedly fixates on priorities.
